It all started when I was a kid at a wedding with a disposable camera—so I guess you could say I’ve been shooting weddings since the 90s! These days, I’m all about capturing moments in a candid, creative, and relaxed way, while making sure you’re having fun and feeling cool as a cucumber.
I love finding beauty in the weird and wonderful, and nothing makes me happier than helping people feel like total rockstars in front of the camera.
I grew up on classic rock and country music, spending my days riding horses and jumping bales in farmers’ fields. I’ve had a camera in my hands for over half my life—first playing with film, and then saving every bit of allowance and bottle money at 15 to buy my first DSLR. I named her Prudence, and together we’ve seen a lot of the world.
I’ve lived in Japan and Ireland, and while I’m always dreaming of the next adventure. These days I am called Vancouver Island home but there’s nothing quite like coming to Alberta skies. I eat Taco Bell when I’m sad, and my comfort movie will forever be Pride & Prejudice.
I can’t wait to get to know your story too—and I’d be so honoured to play a small part in helping you tell it.
I’m a proud queer human and here for all lovers under the rainbow. Whoever you are, whoever you love—you’re safe and celebrated here. I don’t care if your wedding is in the woods, a backyard, or a Taco Bell parking lot (honestly, I’d love that). Your day, your way—that’s the only rule.
You embrace being a perfectly imperfect human.
You quote Wes Anderson movies for fun.
You don’t mind getting a little messy—or teary.
You live for belly laughs and real, unposed moments.
You’re after something different than the usual “smile and say cheese” photos.
You love bold, colourful, and playful imagery.
You want to do things your way on your day.
You want a photographer who makes you feel totally at ease.
And yeah—you think film photography is pretty damn magical.
I’m not going to tell you what you have to wear (no beige-only rule here!). Colour, comfort, and personality are always welcome—being you is the whole point.
Wear what you love. Be with who you love. Somewhere that you love. Doing what you love. Eat ice cream at the park. Eat pizza at home on your couch. Take the dog for a walk. Go chase a mountain sunset.
And if you’re not sure where to start—I’ve got plenty of ideas. I’ll be there every step of the way to help plan your day or your session so it feels easy, fun, and totally you.
