Hello internet! Welcome to my first blog post ever! I’ve always wanted to write a blog ever since my days on Tumblr. Now that I’m an actual “for real-life” wedding photographer I have something worth writing about and sharing and I am beyond stoked! I was inspired to make my first post a year-end review by some of my favorite wedding photographers who I have followed since planning my own wedding, well before I was even calling myself a professional photographer.
It’s kind of crazy the things you realize when you actually take a step back for a second and see how far you’ve come. This year, in 2022, I picked up my camera for weddings and sessions 60 times. I photographed 11 weddings/elopements, 16 engagement/couples sessions, 3 boudoir sessions, 2 maternity sessions, 5 newborn sessions, 4 styled shoots, 1 branding session, and 18 family sessions. I am so beyond grateful for every single moment spent with all of the beautiful humans I created with and captured milestones for. I still cannot believe how lucky I am to be able to do this and I am so excited to see where 2023 takes me! I’ve already got 10 weddings on the books for next year!! Somebody pinch me!
